Spring Open Garden
Clifton Hill House
The University of Bristol has made a successful bid to the Heritage Lottery Fund, for funding to help restore the garden at Clifton Hill House.
To celebrate, we’ve decided to open the garden to the public, so you can see it in all its springtime glory!
This event is free of charge (donations welcomed)
Work has already begun in the garden, so whilst far from pristine, it offers a chance to see the restoration process in action, and to find out more about our plans.
We hope that there will also be some pretty spring bulbs in evidence too.
For days, times and events – see www.gssg-bristol.com or a poster outside Clifton Library, Princess Victoria Street. Tickets cost £5.00 per person and cover both days (children 16 and under free) will be on sale from the Gardens Marked with T and from 10.30 to 16.00 outside The Arch House Deli, which is between Victoria Square and Boyce’s Avenue, Clifton, BS8 4AA.
The price of tickets, which only will be sold in advance, will be reduced to £3.50 per person for groups of 8 or more. These can be bought from R.Musgrave, Garden Flat, 4 Eaton Crescent, Clifton, Bristol, BS8 2EJ. Please make out a cheque to CHIS. To ensure that you receive your tickets and information please apply before 1 st June.
